Video: Behind the Scenes of “Subway Creeps”

It’s exactly one year ago today we released one of our most effective videos yet, “Subway Creeps” with the Village Voice. A video calling out subway masturbators and offering tips on what to do if you are a victim. Here’s a little behind the scenes of how we create such horrid songs.

Everyday women fall victim to this type of behavior and it just needs to stop. We’d like to think this ABSOLUTE HERO saw our video and decided to take matters into her own hands, bravo baby. But we know she probably didn’t and is just a natural bad-ass. Please don’t pull your junk out ever, don’t be a subway creep.

When creating this video, we got linked to Jessenia Vice (our Queen B) and she was more than thrilled to be a part of it — as she shares the same frustrations with cat callers on a daily basis and terrible dudes everywhere. We were also very moved by her story, being a domestic violence survivor and all. So thank you JV for killing it in our video! Check her stuff out.

Here’s the video in which Brokelyn says “Bay Ridge dudes explain subway groping better than the MTA”
