“Yegelle Tezeta” by Mulatu Astatke. You guys might recognize the sample used on “As We Enter” by Damian Marley & Nas but this is the original #tune written around late 1960s by this awesome #ethiopian jazz musician. The breaks in this one always gave me some trouble since the band was so fluid with their timing coming back in. But that’s exactly what I like about this stuff. It’s both free form and structural. My #djembe was 😊 with it🎶 Good Sunday morning to you all🌞 . . #ethiojazz #darrenmarkone #africandrums #jazz #handpercussion #drumming #drumlife #africanmusic #sundayvibes #sundaymorning #jamming #happysunday #beats #practice #ethiopia #groove #nycdrummer #drummerforhire #yegelletezeta #asweenter #damianmarley #morninghours #morningmotivation #classic
